IFGC Section 630 is amended by adding a subsection to read as follows:

630.3 Ventilation air. Where unvented infrared heaters are installed, mechanical ventilation shall be provided to exhaust at least 4 cubic feet per minute (cfm) (0.0203 m3/s) per 1,000 Btu/hr (0.292 kW) input rating and it shall be electrically interlocked with the heater. Makeup air shall be provided to the space to be heated.
