If requested by the chief administrative law judge or designee, the agency shall file a copy of the notice of hearing proposed to be issued.
Within ten days of the receipt of a request, the chief administrative law judge or designee shall assign an administrative law judge to hear the case and set the time, date, and place for hearing or prehearing conference, taking into account the agency's request.
