Section 814.1.
UPC section 814.1 is amended to read as follows:
814.1
Condensate Disposal.
Condensate from air washers, air-cooling coils, fuel-burning condensing
appliances, the overflow from evaporative coolers, and similar water-supplicd
equipment or similar air-conditioning equipment shall be collected and
discharged to an approved plumbing fixture or disposal area. Where discharged
into the drainage system, equipment shall drain by means of an indirect waste
pipe. The waste pipe shall have a slope of not less than 1/8 inch per foot
(10.4 mm/m) or 1 percent slope and shall be made of an approved
corrosion-resistant material.

UPC section 814.3 is amended to read as follows:

Point of Discharge.
Air-conditioning condensate waste pipes shall connect indirectly to the
interior drainage system through an air gap or air break to:
(1) properly trapped and vented receptors;
(2) the tailpiece of an approved
plumbing fixture; or
(3) an
exterior place of disposal approved by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
Condensate waste shall not drain over a public way or in areas causing a nuisance.
