The purpose for nursing education standards is to:
A. provide a framework for preparing safe and
competent graduates for entry into practical , professional, and advanced
practice nursing;
B. provide
criteria for the development, evaluation, and improvement of new and
established nursing education programs; and
C. ensure candidates are educationally
prepared for licensure and recognition at the appropriate level.
