Subpart 1.
Spills.
Surfaces must be decontaminated immediately or as soon as feasible after potentially infectious materials are spilled.
Subp. 2.
Laundry.
Contaminated linen:
A. must be handled as little as possible and
with minimum agitation;
B. must be
placed in bags that prevent leakage at the location where it is used;
and
C. must not be sorted or rinsed
in patient-care areas.
