IFC section 604.2.18.3 is amended to read as follows:
604.2.18.3
Two or more
elevators. Where two or more elevators are controlled by a common
operating system, all elevators shall automatically transfer to standby power
within 60 seconds after failure of normal power where the standby power source
is of sufficient capacity to operate all elevators at the same time. Where the
standby power source is not of sufficient capacity to operate all elevators at
the same time, the elevators shall operate according to ASME A17.1 2004/CSA
B44-2010 2.27.2.

IFC section 604.5.2 is amended to read as follows:
604.5.2
Power test. For
battery-powered emergency lighting, a power test of the emergency lighting
equipment shall be completed annually. The power test shall operate the
emergency lighting for a minimum of 30 minutes. All emergency lighting shall
remain sufficiently illuminated for the duration of the test.
