IFC Section 2701.1 is amended by adding a section to read:
2701.1.2
Medical
gases. The storage, handling, transferring and use of medical gases
intended for inhalation or sedation at hospitals, nursing homes and similar
facilities shall be in accordance with NFPA 99 and the general provisions of
Sections 2701, 2703.2.6 through 2703.2.6.2, and 2703.9 through 2703.9.4.
Compressed gases shall also comply with Chapter 30. Cryogenic fluids shall also
comply with Chapter 32.
