12 Miss. Code. R. 3-2.1-400.2 - PERMITS & LOCAL AUTHORITIES
Local building permits are not required. Local authorities have no jurisdiction over state-owned projects except where they have been specifically authorized to act on behalf of the State (i.e., local fire marshals and health officials).
