12 Miss. Code. R. 3-20-200.11 - DEFINITION OF AN EMERGENCY
By definition an emergency is caused by: [Mississippi Code 1972, Annotated, Section 31-7-1(i)]
1. fire
2. flood
3. explosion
4. storm
5. earthquake
6. epidemic
7. riot
8. insurrection
9. any inherent defect due to defective
construction
An emergency is also when:
10. the immediate preservation of
order or of public health is necessary by reason of unforeseen
emergency.
11. the immediate
restoration of a condition of usefulness of any public building or equipment
appears advisable.
12. there is a
failure of any machine or other thing used and useful in the generation,
production or distribution of electricity, water or natural gas, or in the
transportation or treatment of sewage.
