15 Miss. Code. R. 11-55-3.14.3 - Time Out
"Time out" that enables the child to regain self-control and keeps the child in visual contact with a caregiver shall be used selectively, considering the child's developmental stage and the usefulness of "time out" for the child. Isolation from a caregiver is not acceptable. "Time out" is not allowed for children younger than (3) three years of age.
