15 Miss. Code. R. 11-55-3.20.1 - Emergency Suspensions of License
1. Any license
issued pursuant to these regulations may be suspended prior to a hearing if the
licensing agency has reasonable cause to believe that the operation of the
childcare family home constitutes a substantial hazard to the health or safety
of the children cared for by the childcare family home.
2. Whenever a license is to be suspended, the
operator or director shall be notified in writing that the license, upon
service of the notice, is immediately suspended. The notice shall contain the
reason for the emergency suspension, and shall set a date for a hearing, which
shall be within 14 days of the service of notice.
