15 Miss. Code. R. 16-1-1.50.6 - Utility Room

Each inpatient hospice shall provide a separate utility room for soiled and clean patient care equipment such as bedpans, urinals, et cetera. The soiled utility room shall contain, as a minimum, the following equipment:

1. Provision for cleaning utensils such as bed pans, urinal, et cetera;

2. Utensil sterilizer;

3. Lavatory or sink and disposable towel dispenser;

4. The utility room for clean equipment shall have suitable storage.
