15 Miss. Code. R. 16-1-52.5.13 - Nursing Services
Nursing services shall be under the direct supervision of a registered professional nurse who has had at least one (1) year of experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing or has had previous work experience in chemical dependency units.
1. The
number of registered professional nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other
nursing personnel shall be adequate to formulate and carry out the nursing
components of the individual treatment plan for each patient.
2. There shall be a registered professional
nurse on duty 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, to plan, assign, supervise, and
evaluate nursing care, and to provide for the delivery of nursing care to
patients.
