15 Miss. Code. R. 19-60-10.1.2 - Legal Authority
1. The Mississippi
State Board of Health shall be empowered under Title 73, Chapter 38,
Mississippi Code of 1972 Annotated, to license qualified applicants in the
practice of speech-language pathology and audiology.
2. The Mississippi State Board of Health
shall promulgate such rules as are necessary to provide for the licensing of
speech-language pathologists, audiologists, speech-language pathology aides,
and audiology aides.
3. The
principal offices of the Mississippi State Board of Health and the Mississippi
Council of Advisors in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology are located in
the Mississippi State Department of Health building, 570 East Woodrow Wilson,
Jackson, Mississippi 39216.
