15 Miss. Code. R. 3-1-4.4.5 - Burn Care
There must be a written protocol to transfer the patient to a Burn Center that provides this service if this service if it is not available at the Level II Trauma Center. Policies and procedures shall be in place to assure that the appropriate care is rendered during the initial resuscitation and transfer of the patient.
