15 Miss. Code. R. 5-85-3.8.14 - Closure of delayed birth files
Any application for a delayed certificate not completed within one year from date of application may be dismissed at the discretion of the State Registrar. Upon dismissal, the State Registrar shall advise the applicant of his or her decision and all documents submitted in support of such registration shall be returned to the applicant. No refund of fees shall be made.
