A. Residents of DAA treatment centers must
voluntarily decide to apply for SNAP benefits but must apply and be certified
through an authorized representative who is employed by the center and
designated for such purpose.
B.
MDHS requires that the resident also designate the DAA treatment center as
their authorized and benefit representative.
