18 Miss. Code. R. 14-25.1 - Eligibility Criteria for Shelters for Battered Persons
For residents of shelters for battered persons to be eligible to participate in SNAP, the shelter must either be:
A. A public or private non-profit residential
facility that serves battered persons; or
B. Authorized as a retailer by the Food and
Nutrition Service (FNS).
C. If the
facility serves other individuals, a portion of the facility must be set aside
on a long-term basis to serve only battered persons to qualify.
