18 Miss. Code. R. 14-34.4 - Time Limits for Making Replacement Issuances
A. Replacement
benefits will be provided to households within (ten) 10 days after report of
loss or within (two) 2 working days of receiving the signed household statement
of loss, whichever date is later.
B. MDHS will deny or delay replacement
benefits if there is an indication that the household's request appears to be
fraudulent.
C. A household will be
informed of its right to a fair hearing to contest the denial or delay of
replacement benefits.
D.
Replacement benefits will not be issued while the denial or delay is being
appealed.
