18 Miss. Code. R. 18-5.5 - Use of Force
Use of physical force is limited to situations where there is a direct, imminent threat to the safety of the student and/or staff and no other alternative is available. To prevent injuries to staff and youth, only the minimal amount of force necessary shall be used to control a youth or situation in the facility.
