18 Miss. Code. R. 25-2.7 - Training of Caseworkers
Caseworkers and supervisors in APS upon hire shall receive training on topics including the Mississippi Vulnerable Persons Act, policies of APS and procedures of APS as soon as practical after immediate hiring. Caseworkers shall not perform home visits until they have completed training and have completed a period of mentoring and observation. All caseworkers and supervisors shall have continuing education at least annually on topics to be developed by APS.
