Llama- is defined as the generic term for three of the South American camelids- (llama, alpaca, guanaco)
1. General Requirements for Certificate of
Veterinary Inspection.
2. Entry
Permit required.
3. In addition,
individual identification is required. Individual identification includes age,
sex, color, registry name and number, and permanent identification.(USDA ear
tag, tattoo or microchip) of each animal being transported. If microchip is
used, a reader must be supplied by the owner. A color photograph with a
notarized letter verifying that the animal in the photograph is the animal
represented on the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection will be accepted as a
form of individual identification.
