As provided in Miss. Code Ann. ยง 49-15-15(1)(c), in the three coastal counties, the shellfish sanitation program regulating processing plants and molluscan shellfish sold in retail stores operating in conjunction with a processing plant or seafood market that primarily deals with seafood is under the exclusive authority of the Commission.
