23 Miss. Code. R. 102-9.2 - Age and Institutionalization
A. Individuals
under age twenty-two (22) may receive Medicaid while in an institution for
mental diseases if they are receiving psychiatric services.
B. Individual between the ages of twenty-two
(22) and sixty-five (65) are not eligible to receive any Medicaid benefits
while residing in an institution for mental diseases.
C. Individuals age sixty-five (65) or older
may not receive Medicaid benefits while in an institution unless they reside in
a long term care facility.
