23 Miss. Code. R. 202-3.1 - Definition
Swing bed services are extended care services provided in a hospital bed that has been designated as such. Services consist of one or more of the following:
A. Skilled nursing
care and related services for patients requiring medical or nursing
care,
B. Rehabilitation services
for the rehabilitation of injured, disabled, or sick persons, and
C. On a regular basis, health related care
and services to individuals who, because of their medical status, require care
and services above the level of room and board which can be made available to
them only through institutional facilities.
