A. Rural Emergency Hospitals (REH) are
reimbursed for certain procedure codes the appropriate Outpatient Prospective
Payment System (OPPS) rate, plus five percent (5%).
B. REH are not eligible for Disproportionate
Share Hospital (DSH) payments.
