23 Miss. Code. R. 300-2.10 - Scheduling the Hearing
A. When a local
hearing is requested, the regional office will notify the applicant/beneficiary
or representative in writing of the time and date of the local
hearing.
B. When a state hearing is
requested, the hearing officer assigned to the case will notify the
applicant/beneficiary or representative in writing of the time and date of the
state hearing.
C. The notice
scheduling the time and date of a state or local hearing must be mailed to the
applicant or beneficiary at least five (5) days before the day the hearing is
scheduled. A hearing pamphlet will be included with the letter scheduling
either a local or state hearing.
