28 Miss. Code. R. 301-16.7 - Issuance of Permit
The Port Authority shall issue a permit when the permit application is properly made and approved by the Board of Commissioners of the Mississippi State Port Authority at a regularly scheduled meeting of that body. When a permit is denied, suspended or revoked, written notice shall be given stating the reason therefore.
A.
Duration of Permit. All permits shall be for a one year period and shall be
renewed not later than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date.
B. Renewal Fees. Unless a sign is to be
modified, altered, or replaced, there shall be no renewal fee for the extension
of the permit for an additional year. If modification, alteration, or
replacement is requested then the applicant shall file a new application and
pay a new permit fee.
