30 Miss. Code. R. 1501-13.1 - Complaints And Investigations
1. The Board may
commence an investigation upon receipt of information indicating that a
credentialed appraiser may have committed a violation of the Board's laws or
regulations as set forth under Mississippi Code 73-34-35 (1972, as amended), or
on its own initiative (complaint).
2. A complaint may be dismissed for lack of
jurisdiction, because no apparent violation exists, there is insufficient
evidence to prove a violation, or warrants dismissal for other good cause; or
the complaint may be resolved by a consent order or other informal disposition.
If the complaint is not dismissed, resolved by a Consent Order or other
informal disposition, a formal complaint shall be filed and the matter shall
proceed to a hearing in accordance with provisions of Mississippi Code Ann.
