30 Miss. Code. R. 1501-5.3 - Procedures and criteria for approval of courses
1.
Definitions: A provider is any person, partnership association, corporation,
educational organization, or other entity which sponsors, offers, organized
provides or promotes real estate appraiser continuing education courses. An
instructor is a person who delivers educational material and information
directly to students.
2. A
provider desiring approval of a continuing education course as referred to in
Section
73-34-33,
Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, shall make application to the Board. The
provider, the course, and the instructor must receive concurrent approval.
Courses described under Part 1501, Chapter 5, Rule
5.2 must receive approval prior to
the course being given, except that, in the Board's discretion, courses which
have not received such prior approval but which meet the proper criteria may be
approved for credit for appraisers who have completed such courses.
