30 Miss. Code. R. 1502-2.1 - Certificates of Registration
1. Each Certificate
of Registration issued by the MAB shall indicate on its face in clear and
concise language the following information:
(a) The name of the holder;
(b) The Certificate of Registration number;
(c) The dates of issuance and
expiration of the document; and
(d) Shall bear the signature of the
Administrator of the Board.
2. Each Certificate of Registration shall be
valid for the term set forth on the face of the Certificate unless otherwise
ordered by the Board. Each Certificate of Registration shall remain the
property of the MAB and shall be surrendered to the MAB upon order of the
Board.
3. Every Certificate of
Registration shall be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of
issuance unless otherwise ordered by the Board.
4. An Appraisal Management Company shall not
be registered, nor may it be placed on the national registry, if such entity
is:
(a) Owned in whole or in part, directly
or indirectly, is owned, by any person who has had an appraiser license or
certificate refused, denied, cancelled, surrendered in lieu of revocation, or
revoked by any appraiser credentialing jurisdiction; or
(b) Owned by more than ten percent (10%) by a
person who is not of good moral character as set forth in Miss. Code Ann.
§
73-34-109(1)(b).
