30 Miss. Code. R. 1801-1.6 - Application for Examination
A. All applicants
for the State Board examination for a Licensed Barber or Licensed Instructor
must be filed with the office of the Board of Barber Examiners not later than
fifteen (15) days prior to examination date. If the applicant fails to comply
with this regulation, or the applicant fails to pay the required fees, he or
she will not be permitted to take that scheduled examination.
a. Students attire for examination
1. Students testing for Barber examination
are to be dressed in a clean, professional smock, clean pants or skirt, well
kept clean, closed toe shoes and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
and personal appearance.
2.
Students testing for Instructors examination may wear shirts and ties and/or
professional smocks along with dress slacks or skirt well kept, clean, closed
toe shoes and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and personal
appearance.
3. All pants/skirts
must be worn on waist line. Skirts/dresses must be knee length. No Blue
Denim Jeans or Shorts allowed.
B. At the time of application for
examination, students may complete the appropriate form to receive a permit to
work in a licensed barber shop until the next regularly scheduled examination.
