30 Miss. Code. R. 201-1.2 - Architect Experience Program
The Architect Experience Program (AXP), which was formerly known as the Intern Development Program (IDP), is the intern-architect development program approved and required by the Board. AXP is administered by NCARB.
An applicant shall be deemed to have met or exceeded the work requirements of the Board if the applicant has:
A. completed all requirements of AXP through
the documentation of experience through hours; or
B. completed the requirements of AXP through
the submission of the AXP portfolio; or
C. if the applicant can provide sufficient
and satisfactory evidence that he is unable to obtain the intern-architect
development program certification, the Board may accept in lieu thereof
certification by the applicant that he has completed no less than three (3)
continuous years of actual engagement in architectural work in the office or
offices of a licensed architect or architects. Such certification shall be on
such terms, conditions and requirements as the Board may establish.
