30 Miss. Code. R. 301-4.1 - The Contest Fighting Are
A. The cage used
for the contest shall be provided by the promoter and shall be approved by the
Commission.
B. The cage shall be no
smaller than 18 feet by 18 feet and no larger than 32 feet by 32 feet and at
least 6ft high.
C. The fighting
area canvas shall be padded with approximately 1-inch layer of padding. Padding
shall cover the entire floor of the fighting area.
D. The cage floor shall not be more than four
feet above the ground floor and shall have suitable steps or ramp for use by
the participants.
E. The fighting
area shall be enclosed with a tightly fitted vinyl coated chain-link fence that
will not allow a fighter to fall out of the fighting area.
F. All metal and hard parts shall be covered
and padded in a manner approved by the Commission and shall not be abrasive to
the fighters.
G. A door to the cage
shall be used for ring entrance.
