30 Miss. Code. R. 3301-3.2 - Qualifications for Licensure as a Behavior Analyst
A.
Education
1) Education
qualifications deemed equivalent to those specified in Miss. Code Ann. §
73-75-13 shall be at least a
master's degree, e.g., M.S., M.A., or M.Ed.
2) Institutions recognized by the Board
within the meaning of Miss. Code Ann. §
73-75-13 shall be those
institutions with academic programs approved by the BACB.
B.
The National Examination and
certification in Applied Behavior Analysis: The applicant must have
passed the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® Examination and provide
evidence of certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board
Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) by the BACB.
C.
Oral Examinations
1) Applicants for licensure as a behavior
analyst must complete an oral examination administered by the Board.
2) Applicants must submit all materials
(applications, fee, transcripts, BCBA verification, and fingerprint cards) no
later than seven (7) days before the published examination date for which they
wish to test.
