31 Miss. Code. R. 1-1.2 - Road Tests
1. A fifteen (15)
or sixteen (16) year old currently enrolled in a Driver Education program may
be given the skills test after possessing the learner's permit for a period of
six (6) months.
2. An applicant
under seventeen (17) years old must possess the learner's permit for six (6)
months prior to taking the skills test.
3. Anyone who is seventeen (17) years of age
or older may be given the skills test on the day the learner's permit is
issued.
4. Anyone under eighteen
(18) years of age, unless married, must provide an Education Form. If married,
marriage license must be presented.
5. A road test will not be given during
inclement weather if the windshield wipers have to be used.
6. Motorcycle road test will be waived if
applicant presents a certification from a Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Make a
copy of certification and attach to application.
7. If anyone has a valid out of country
Driver License along with a valid International License they will be required
to take the standard permit test but not the road test.
8. If anyone has a valid out of country
Driver License only (not an International License) they will be required to
take the standard permit test along with a road test.
