31 Miss. Code. R. § 1-5.3 - Out-of-State Addresses
1. Out-of-state
addresses are NOT acceptable on any Mississippi license or ID cards. A valid
Mississippi address must be given, even for military personnel and out-of-state
college students.
2. If the
applicant is a Mississippi resident but has an out-of-state address issued from
the postal service, they must have a notarized letter from the postal service
verifying the address or they can have a car tag registration, homestead
exemption, or property taxes for proof of Mississippi residence.
