33 Miss. Code. R. 204-1.6 - Level of Service

Quantitative measure describing operational conditions within a traffic stream and the perception by motorists. The conditions are measured in terms of factors such as speed, travel time, interruptions, comfort, convenience and safety. Level of service measures are to be determined as described in the 1985 Highway Capacity Manual, Special Report 209 by the Transportation Research Board or the latest edition and supporting software, or, if no longer published, such similar manual as may be selected by the General Manager.
