After a license is issued to a licensee, the licensee will schedule a final inspection with the Department. The purpose of this final inspection is to determine whether the licensed premises has met certain requirements that must be completed prior to its opening and selling cannabis products. The Department must conduct a final inspection of the licensed premises and confirm that the licensee has implemented its approved security plan and that the location of the main entrance to the dispensary matches the location listed in its application. This final inspection must be completed prior to the licensee being authorized to sell medical cannabis to patients.
