39 Miss. Code. R. 4-II-2-106 - "Distributed Generation Interconnection Customer" or "DGIC"

"Distributed Generation Interconnection Customer" or "DGIC" is any electricity customer, such as an industrial, large commercial, residential or small commercial customer, that generates electricity on the customer's side of the meter using a Renewable Energy source. The electricity customer must own or lease the DGF producing the Renewable Energy on the electricity customer's side of the meter in order to qualify as a DGIC under this MDGR, unless otherwise approved by the Commission.
