The annual Application, Agreement and Free/Reduced Meal Policy related to receipt of Federal Funds for the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program and Food Distribution Program shall have final approval by the MDE prior to the service of any meals under the program.

MDE staff shall have authority to grant a 30-day extension.
