7 Miss. Code. R. 3-9.1 - Attendance Reporting
When local school districts receive a report from a juvenile court that a student's probation has school attendance as a condition, the following rules will be followed:
1. A
review will be conducted by the school administration to determine the most
appropriate academic placement, the need for counseling and other social
services, and the development of an instruction plan, if appropriate;
2. parental involvement will be
encouraged;
3. alternative
placement will be considered if the act necessitating the order would hinder
the instructional program or place others at risk for their personal safety;
and
4. the appropriate School
Attendance Officer will be notified.
