9 Miss. Code. R. § 7-2-2.8 - COMPENSATION FOR AND REIMBURSEMENT OF COMMISSION MEMBERS
A. Commission members shall receive no annual
salary but may receive per diem compensation as authorized by Section
25-3-69, Mississippi code of 1972,
as amended, for each day or fraction thereof devoted to the discharge of
commission duties or official commission meetings.
B. Commission members shall be entitled to
reimbursement for expenses such as meals, lodging, and other necessary expenses
incurred in the discharge of their duties, including the current state rate per
mile actually and necessarily traveled as authorized by Section
25-3-41, Mississippi Code of 1972,
as amended.
C. The discharge of
official commission duties shall consist of attending regular and called
meetings of the commission and attending official meetings at which the
attendance of the commission member(s) is required as an official assignment by
the Mississippi Community College Board.
