Mont. Admin. R. 2.21.4128 - EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION PROCEDURES
(1) Agency managers shall furnish auxiliary
aids and services, upon request, to promote equally effective communication for
people with disabilities, unless doing so would result in an undue burden or
fundamentally alter the program, service, or activity.
(2) Anyone requiring auxiliary aids and
services may contact the department directly responsible for providing the
program, service, or activity, including agency management, ADA coordinator,
EEO officer, or human resources staff.
(3) Agency managers may not charge
individuals with disabilities to offset costs associated with providing
required auxiliary aids and services.
(4) Agency managers are not required to
provide personal use items such as wheelchairs, prescription eyeglasses,
hearing aids, or personal services such as eating, toileting, or
dressing.
