Nev. Admin. Code § 388.375 - Assessment of academic achievement
1.Except as
otherwise provided in subsection 2, if the academic achievement of a pupil with
a disability is assessed, the person conducting the assessment may use:
(a) A standardized test of academic
achievement;
(b) Curriculum-based
assessment; and
(c) A report by the
teacher of the pupil.
2.
If the assessment of academic achievement is required to determine
the eligibility of the pupil for special education and related services
pursuant to NAC
388.330 to
388.440, inclusive, and section
10 of this regulation, the assessment must be based upon the use of a
standardized test.
3. Any
interpretation of an assessment of academic achievement must be made by a
person qualified to administer individually standardized tests of academic
achievement to pupils.
