Nev. Admin. Code § 459.0508 - "Medical use of radioactive material" and "medical use" defined

"Medical use of radioactive material" or "medical use" means the intentional internal or external administration of:

1. Licensed radioactive material or radiation therefrom, as described in 10 C.F.R. Part 35; or

2. Radiation from a machine that produces radiation, to patients or human research subjects under the supervision of an authorized user.
