Nev. Admin. Code § 503.102 - Factors for classification of wildlife as fur-bearing mammal
The Department shall consider the following factors in classifying a species or subspecies of wildlife as a fur-bearing mammal:
1. The economic value of the animal's fur;
2. The recreational value of trapping the animal; and
3. Whether trapping the animal is of value to the management of the animal.
