Nev. Admin. Code § 633.Sec. 10 - NEW
1. An anesthesiologist assistant who retires
from practice is not required to biennially renew his or her license after
filing with the Board an affidavit which contains:
(a) The date on which the anesthesiologist
assistant retired from practice; and
(b) Any additional information, evidence or
documentation which the Board may require to verify the retirement of the
anesthesiologist assistant.
2. An anesthesiologist assistant who retires
from practice and who desires to return to practice may apply to renew his or
her license by submitting to the Board satisfactory proof that the
anesthesiologist assistant has completed continuing education that meets the
requirements of paragraph (b) of subsection 1 of section 9 which total:
(a) Twenty-five hours if the anesthesiologist
assistant has been retired for 1 year or less; or
(b) Fifty hours within 12 months after the
date of the application for renewal if the anesthesiologist assistant has been
retired for more than 1 year.
