Nev. Admin. Code § 636.Sec. 5.1 - NEW
1. A licensee who is engaging in synchronous
or asynchronous optometric telemedicine shall review records relating to the
eye health of the patient immediately before or during the provision of health
care services. Such records must include, without limitation, information
obtained from the comprehensive examination conducted pursuant to subsection 2
or 3 of NRS 636.394, as applicable.
2. A licensee who is engaging in optometric
telemedicine or remote patient monitoring may not issue a prescription for
ophthalmic lenses without first performing a manifest refraction.
