Nev. Admin. Code § 640.Sec. 22 - NEW
1. Every patient of physical therapy must have a physical therapist of record. The physical therapist of record for a patient is the physical therapist who performs the initial evaluation of the patient, unless otherwise specified in the record or by the facility where the initial evaluation of the patient is performed.
2. The physical therapist of record:
(a) Is fully responsible for managing all aspects of the physical therapy of the patient.
(b) Shall communicate the overall plan of care to the patient or the legally authorized representative of the patient.
